Biography

Dr. Sandeep Kautish is a seasoned academician and accomplished professor with over 16 Years of work experience including over 05 years in academic administration in various institutions of India and abroad. He earned his bachelor's, master's in Computer Science and a doctorate degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Decision Analytics in Social Networks. He holds PG Diploma in Management also. His areas of research interest are Decision Support Systems, Business Analytics, Data Mining, and Information Systems.

He has 40+ publications in his account and has published in reputed journals with high impact factor and SCIE/Scopus/WoS indexing. Also, he has authored/edited more than 07 books with reputed publishers i.e. Springer, Elsevier, John Wiley, Emerald, De Gruyter, and IGI Global. He has been invited as Keynote Speaker at VIT Vellore in 2019 for an International Conference held at VIT Vellore Campus. He filed one patent in the field of Solar Energy equipment using Artificial Intelligence in 2019.

He is Guest Editor for EAI Endorsed Transactions on Smart Cities since 2020. He serves on the Editorial Board of reputed journals i.e. International Journal of Decision Support System Technology (IGI Global USA), International Journal of Image Mining (Inderscience Publication) and Australasian Journal of Information Systems (AJIS) and Series Editor with CRC Press (Taylor & Francis Group) for Book Series titled “Advances in Informatics and Information Systems Engineering”.

He has supervised one PhD in Computer Science as a co-supervisor at Bharathiar University Coimbatore. Presently two doctoral scholars are pursuing their PhD under his supervision in the sentiment analysis area. He is a recognized PhD thesis examiner at various universities of repute i.e. Anna University Chennai, Savitribai Phule Pune University, M.S. University, Tirunelveli, Punjab Technical University, Uttrakhand Technical University Dehradun, etc.

Presently he is working as Professor & Dean-Academics with LBEF Campus, Kathmandu Nepal running in academic collaboration with Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation Malaysia.
